Franklin Pierce University is seeking a graduate assistant (GA) women’s soccer coach for a 10-month period (August to May). The position begins on August 1, 2021. Job Summary: This position is an opportunity for an individual to further their academic endeavors within the Franklin Pierce University Graduate Programs while also gaining an extensive amount of experience in coaching in an NCAA Division II Athletic Program. This staff member must be accepted into any of the Franklin Pierce Master Degree Programs prior to being selected as a Graduate Assistant. The GA will collaborate with the head coach to prepare plans, do on-the-field teaching, and directly assist the head coach in games with strategic and personnel decisions. Additional responsibilities include assisting with new student recruitment, transportation, fundraising, camps/clinics, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Game coaching for a junior varsity/club program may be required. Qualified applicants will also assist in fostering a highly competitive and positive team culture where high-quality relationships with fellow coaches and players are emphasized. This is a 2-year position determined by the program of study. Compensation includes a stipend, graduate tuition, and supplemental income possibilities with regards to working camps/clinics or coaching with a local club program.
