We are looking for a dynamic and hard-working individual to lead our road tour over the summer. This person will be traveling across the North-East and Mid-West with visits planned at soccer tournaments on the weekends and club/school visits during the week. The goal of the road tour is to offer product demonstrations of the Beyond Pulse wearable technology for teams and players.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Driving the Beyond Pulse motorhome from location to location according to the summer road tour schedule
  • Delivering product demonstrations of the technology to teams and coaches participating in tournaments and during club/school visits
  • Update customer database with relevant information to track all customer interactions
  • Assist the Sales Director with pre/post demo communications for all customers on the tour
  • Assist the Social Media Director with content from the road including photos/videos and interviews with customers for product testimonials
  • Help in general coordination of the road tour with other departments as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

Applicants should be currently enrolled in a sports marketing / coaching or other sports related major. Applicants that are enrolled in a sports related minor as part of their studies will also be considered for the position. It is essential that all applicants possess a valid and clean driver’s license.

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Competent in communication in online/virtual work environments
  • Able to work individually with minimal supervision
  • Confident in speaking in front of groups
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and flexible in day-to-day job requirements
  • Able to work evenings and weekends
  • A confident driver capable of driving long hours with the appropriate breaks
  • An optimist with the passion and enthusiasm to see every challenge and bump in the road as an opportunity to improve
  • Someone that is willing to learn and take on board feedback

 

Required Experience:

Experience is a bonus and not required for a successful application. Any experiences in sports events, marketing and coaching are added strengths to the applicant.
