Assist the Director Ticket Operations develop ticket campaigns within the Ticketmaster Archtics and TM Host computerized ticketing systems; special event ticketing for campus and non campus organizations and serve as liaison with campus organizations requiring Ticket Office services. Perform counter ticket sales and distribution as necessary. Assist to audit accounts, deposits, and maintenance of financial records. Assist and or prepare reports for the Athletic Business Manager and Internal Audit department. Supervise Ticket Office staff and student workers during absence of the Director Ticket Office. Perform gameday tasks to include: oversight of ticket office sellers, pre game hospitality logistics, ticket sales functions for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and other sports as assigned. Develop and execute group ticketing plans for assigned sports and assist MTSU Athletic Department Marketing staff with duties related to marketing, promotion and game day ticket sales/operations for Blue Raider Athletics (football, men’s & women’s basketball, baseball, softball, etc.) NCAA hosted tournaments, etc. Provide distribution of sports marketing promotional materials; assist with solicitation of season ticket holders; assist staff with creation and implementation of business plans for each sport. Attend community events to promote upcoming athletic events and perform related tasks as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Preference to degree in business related or sports management field. Masters Degree in a business or sports management field preferred.
Required Related Experience
One year experience in ticket office, with Ticketmaster Archtics experience.
Desirable Related Experience
Prior ticket office experience at the college level preferred. NCAA Division I athletic ticket operations, group ticket sales experience preferred.
