Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach

The Women’s Lacrosse Assistant Coach will assist will all aspects of the program. The assistant coach will support the Head Coach both on and off the field. The assistant coach will work tirelessly to recruit, coach, teach, and form relationships with our student athletes during their time on campus. Will also assist with planning prospective student athlete’s campus visits. Ability to engage in fundraising opportunities both on and off campus for the betterment of the team and University.

Position Responsibilities

•Attend recruiting events in Fall, Spring and Summer. Recruit student athletes who embody Eastern’s core mission and values. •Able to communicate well with peers and Head Coach. •Assist in all aspects of coaching including practice planning, game film breakdown, holding individual skill sessions, etc. •Assists with fundraising, road trips, spring break, prospective student athlete’s campus visits, official visit, and team bonding activities. •Demonstrates commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy and the student-athlete experience. •Ability to work together with members of the athletic department staff and the student athletes on campus. •Creativity for our social media platforms. •Embodies values of caring and compassion, justice and integrity, competence and affirmation. •Seeks to treat each member of the campus community with fairness, dignity and respect seeking a spirit of unity and harmony as we join to achieve our common mission.
