The Director of Donor Relations & Operations handles all donor benefits and serves as the primary customer service representative for those who support App State athletics. This position will devise and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship plan on an annual basis for both annual and leadership gifts. This includes, but is not limited to events, fund reports, and communications.

Additional responsibilities: - Serves as a point of contact for the Data Base Management System that houses all donor accounts. - Serves as the database management liaison to the ticket office. - Coordinate student support staff and non-student temp positions. - Assist senior leadership in the management of the annual operating budget, monthly reconciliation of p-cards, time sheets and work hand in hand with staff members to ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and filed. - Serves as a point of contact for the Former Athletes Association, Athletics Scholarship Endowments and supports the Yosef Club Advisory Board.

  • Knowledge of the mission, goals, and needs of the Athletics Development office and University Advancement.

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and maintain strong confidentiality.
  • Ability to acquire, compile, evaluate, and report program needs for budgets, travel, reconciliations, purchase orders, endowment agreements, executive correspondence, and other areas as needed.
  • Database management and priorities point system oversight.
  • Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be very organized and keep and produce accurate records.
