Football Creative Media Coordinator UIW Mission Position Summary The Football Creative Media Coordinator for the University of the Incarnate Word Football program will be responsible for the creative video and graphic design needs of the program. This includes but not limited to designing and producing graphics and video to be used across multiple platforms to enhance the UIW football brand through social media strategy and recruiting initiatives. This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and The UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about violating Title IX. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. Essential Functions Job Duties Knowledge Skills and Abilities Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects. Proficient knowledge of camera operation and lighting schematics to shoot and edit both field and studio assignments at a high level. Ability to provide routine maintenance of equipment, as well as backup digital content, and log/catalog raw footage. Proficient in the creation of both online and print design. Effective administrative and organizational skills to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and projects according to deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and oral/written communication skills. Strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA and conference rules and regulations regarding compliance issues as it relates to recruiting social media and film trade. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Ability to follow the mission of the University. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the university, Southland Conference, and the NCAA. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree. Required Work Experience At least two (2) years of experience with collegiate or professional athletics and/or other creative media. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree. Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable with UIW’s insurance carrier. Work Hours Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Ability to lift equipment, tools, and/or materials weighing up to 25 pounds waist high.
