This paid S&C opportunity includes both high school and collegiate-level experience. The first part of this dual role allows the S&C Coach to serve as an independent contractor at a local private High School. The coach acts in all facets as the Head S&C Coach while coordinating with High School Athletic Administration and other Sports Coaches. The role encompasses all S&C sports programming, as well as appropriate modalities and protocols. Communication and documentation are expected while seeking assistance from a scheduling and weight room/facility usage perspective. The second portion of this role is the opportunity to intern at Georgetown University and earn additional hours towards collegiate certifications. The experience also allows for direct tutelage and supervision from a premier Division I S&C Staff. The time spent at Georgetown enables an opportunity to learn and refine coaching skills and depending on competency, oversee sports programs. There is additional support from SiSu systems who will handle all billing, collecting, payments, onboarding, offboarding, and administrative coordination. SiSu will also provide access to a network of Head S&C Coaches at the NCAA level that began their careers under this very program. Performance Nutrition, Programming templates, historical analysis, and other shared best practices are all available for your use and career enhancement. Typical hours are M-F in the afternoons, however occasional weekends, and potential mornings. This is an entry-level position that provides an accelerant in regards to skill enhancement and development. With more than two dozen full-time NCAA S&C professionals and several Head NCAA S&C Coaches having gone through this very opportunity - we can attest that this is an incredibly unique and established collaboration that allows individuals to be compensated as a head High School Strength & Conditioning professional while accumulating meaningful knowledge and experience at Georgetown University.
