The University of South Carolina Beaufort is a four-year public University nestled in the Lowcountry, located less than 15 miles from the beautiful beaches of the resort island of Hilton Head and 20 miles from historic Savannah & historic Beaufort. With a yearly average high of 75.6 degrees, the weather is favorable for outdoor recreation, outdoor training and sporting events. The USCB Sand Sharks are a member of the NAIA and compete in the Sun Conference.

As Assistant Head Softball Coach will assist the head coach in the coaching and administration of a NAIA intercollegiate softball program. This includes but not limited to; field preparation and maintenance, serve as hitting coach and recruiting coordinator, team travel, camps, community service, provide defensive instruction with emphasis on infield or outfield play, Alumni outreach and other softball focused duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Bachelor’s degree required. Coaching experience required. 

Master’s degree preferred. Minimum three years intercollegiate baseball coaching experience strongly preferred. 

Knowledge of baseball rules and regulations. Strong communication skills.
