Provide leadership in planning and operating the Soccer program within established policies and procedures of WSC, NSCS, NSIC, NCAA, and other entities.
• Organize and facilitate all practice sessions, contest preparations, competitions, and off-season training • Supervise Assistant Coach, Graduate Assistants, student workers, and volunteers • Maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all WSC, NSCS, NSIC, NCAA, and other policies • Analyze performance and instruct student athletes in game strategies and techniques • Coach players individually or in groups demonstrating techniques • Recruit student athletes • Enforce student athlete discipline and sportsmanship behavior in conjunction with Athletic Director • Teaches courses as assigned • Requires night and weekend duties as well as traveling for competitions and recruitment • Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree • Two years of college-level soccer coaching experience • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Results oriented, creative, and highly motivated
