Nebraska Athletics is seeking a Diversity & Inclusion postgraduate intern for the 2020-2021 academic year. The position will provide valuable experience in event planning, maintaining and creating campus partnerships, developing trainings and facilitating staff presentations. Under the supervision of the Diversity & Inclusion Director in athletics, the position will work closely with athletic administration to ensure policy and programming designed to celebrate diversity, practice inclusion and strive for social justice. Additional experiences include working within the Nebraska Life Skills program and exposure to athletic administration. This is a paid temporary full-time internship at the rate of $10 per hour and includes vacation and sick leave. This position is also eligible for health, dental and other insurance.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Criminal history background check will be conducted. The anticipated start date is September 2020.
