Maryville University is accepting applications for a Head Coach of Men's Basketball. This person will be responsible for leading the Men's basketball program. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a welcoming environment for a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities: • Recruiting qualified student-athletes and monitoring student-athlete academic progress • Administration and coaching of the Men's Basketball program, including staff supervision • Scheduling contests and practices; organizing travel and game day preparations • Organizing and managing the budget responsibly • Commitment to the University, Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and NCAA rules and regulations • Fundraising for the Men's Basketball program
Three years' basketball coaching experience
Thorough understanding of the game and technical aspects in the sport of basketball
The ability to effectively teach team and individual skills connected with team and player development
Collegiate level coaching experience
