Assist in administering an educationally sound competitive soccer program for male-student-athletes, within the rules and policies of the the University, the Horizon League and NCAA legislated guidelines.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Five years or more of NCAA Division 1 or 2 head or assistant coaching experience of particular emphasis on Midwest, Great Lakes, North regions. USSF National C license or better. Strong compliance background to help with NCAA compliance, rules, regulations, APR, GSR, ARMS software, transfer portal, financial aid, etc.Ability to travel all throughout Michigan, USA, North America & abroad internationally to recruit as needed & organization and fiscal responsibility to oversee recruitment budget, planning, tracking. Strong alumni relations & fundraising ability including ability to relate well with alumni and potential donors. Strong time management skills, organization, ability to multi-task, strong communication skillswritten, verbal & non verbal. Strong decision-making ability and leadership, vision & motivation to assist in the oversight and management of staff and various off-field aspects of the program.A valid vehicle operator's license and a driving record acceptable to the university are required.
