The University of Louisville Athletic Association, Inc. (ULAA) and its partner, adidas, have developed a practical, career-building internship model to prepare the next generation of athletic administrators and sports industry professionals. This exclusive ten-month program offers hands-on experience and programming opportunities for passionate, hardworking graduate or professional degree-seeking students to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in athletic administration. Positions are available within several focus areas and prepares interns for an entry- or mid-level position in athletic administration and/or the sports industry.
To be considered, candidates must be enrolled at the University of Louisville in a graduate or professional degree program. Those selected will be assigned to various departments within ULAA depending on individual preference, interests, and/or skill sets.
Duration of Internship: August 3, 2020- May 31, 2021
Must be a graduate or professional degree-seeking student who will be enrolled full-time (as determined by student's academic program) at the University of Louisville for the 2020-21 academic year.
An undergraduate student may be admitted; however, the student must be referred to Athletics Human Resources by a member of the Athletic Department's leadership team prior to applying. Additionally, the undergraduate student must be enrolled full-time (as determined by student's academic program) at the University of Louisville for the 2020-21 academic year.
Interns must be committed to stay the entire academic year. Mid-year graduates will not be considered for the 10-month internship.
Proven commitment to academic success (submission of academic transcript(s) required).
Possess a serious desire to work in intercollegiate athletics and/or the sports industry.
