Work with players with a wide range of abilities, with the goal of individual development for all players
Attend league games and manage team during all aspects of a match (i.e., substitutions, warm-up, halftime feedback, post-game talk)
Attend team training as requested by Technical Director (TD)
Design training sessions and/or training program if requested by TD
Effective communicator with players (at training and games), team coaches, parents and club staff
Communicate with team coaches regarding growth of players, standards, practices etc.
Provide written evaluations and offer meeting time to players and their parents
Communicate with club staff about planning, scheduling and staffing
Outgoing personality comfortable communicating in-person and by phone/e-mail
SCHEDULING / STAFFING
Conduct meetings with coaching staff
Develop seasonal training schedules with learning objectives for each age group
Staff and oversee any and all assistant coaches
Attend bi-weekly staff meetings and carry other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the TD including working select tryouts.
Mandatory attendance at games including State Cup, Regionals, NPL weekends, Indoor Championships and key tournaments
IDENTIFICATION / EVALUATION
Must be able to evaluate and identify talent for team placement
Conduct written development plans and evaluations of all players within the program
COACHING / CAMPS
Fall, winter and spring select training - work with multiple age groups
Player Factory (individual and small group training) summer and winter sessions
Essentials Camp (late July/early August)
Ability and willingness to work a soccer professional schedule, which includes weekends, evenings and some holidays.
Ability to work independently in a home office environment and in a collaborative teamwork environment where strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills are required.
Must have own transportation and valid driver’s license.
Proficient using Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Drive and PowerPoint.
Must successfully pass an individual background check and complete mandatory trainings as required by our national affiliations.
