We are looking for a Head Goalkeeper Coach to join the team at Olé Football Academy, located in Wellington, New Zealand.
This is a full-time role for someone who is excited about the opportunity to work with the young player, and support their development as footballers and people.

About the role:
The Head Goalkeeper Coach is responsible for all goalkeepers currently in the academy - generally, youth players of various ages
The person in this role will need to learn and understand the Olé FA style of play and our philosophies, and ensure these are implemented into goalkeeper training. There is also plenty of opportunity and freedom to innovate and implement new ideas.
This role will involve research, planning, delivery, evaluation and analysis for both goalkeeper training and games. The person in this role will work closely alongside other coaches to run training and assist at matches.
The role requires a strong administration and communication skill set, in order to stay on top of coordinating players and training sessions. There will also be the scope to scout and actively recruit goalkeepers to the programme.
While this role is specific to goalkeeper coaching, we are hopeful that the person in this role is able to step into a playing role if necessary. We also hope to find someone who is willing to assist with coaching our youngest academy players as well.
Having connections to US Universities for player placements, would be a huge help to the organisation.
There is no requirement to have a coaching license or diploma for this role.
The nature of the role requires flexibility with time, open mindedness and the willingness to continuously learn.

The West’s Juniors programme (ages 7 – 10) is a joint initiative between Weste...rn Suburbs Soccer Club and Olé Football Academy to deliver a once-a-week professional training experience to the next group of up and coming football stars.
Affiliated with Western Suburbs, the Olé Elite Academy (ages 11 – 14) runs in conjunction with the youth club football calendar. The Elite Academy introduces the young footballer to a full-time football curriculum with players training 4 times per week and playing with their respective Western Suburbs club teams on the weekend.
The Olé Premier Academy (ages 15 – 18) encompasses a full-time football curriculum with a strong emphasis on personal development aimed at preparing the footballer for life on and beyond the pitch. Offering an extensive year-round programme, with a residential option, the Premier programme runs in conjunction with the Western Suburbs club season. The residential players attend local public schools during the calendar year and as part of the Premier experience take part in a series of mentorship and personal development programmes.
