Supports the growth and development of The Georgia Bulldog Club through assisting with the production of effective and coordinated communications pieces and providing front-line support to assist the Annual Fund and Major Gifts team.
Communication Functions: - Develop and execute a comprehensive content calendar - Develop, design and execute the marketing campaigns for fundraising and membership projects across 4 annual funds and the Magill Society - Maintain website and newsletter communications - Assist with management of email and other digital communications efforts - Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy - Execute communications projects as assigned by Director of Development and Associate Athletic Director of Development & Internal Operations - Write copy for promotional materials, letters, short pieces, etc.
Development Functions: - Serve as frontline customer service/donor relations representative for The Georgia Bulldog Club with ability to interact effectively with TGBC members in multiple settings (phone, email, events, etc.) - Provide support to all four annual funds (Hartman Fund, Basketball Enhancement Fund, Georgia Baseball Fund and Gymnastics Endowment Fund) - Serve as a liaison to the Major Gift Team to assist in the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of annual fund and major gift donors
Administrative Functions: - Phone/email support - Initiative assistance (i.e. reseating, special events) - Attend game day functions and other donor functions as a representative of TGBC, as needed
Completion of Bachelor’s degree. Experience in collegiate athletics. Demonstrated ability to produce print, digital and social material for fundraising in an athletics setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with an understanding of Adobe Creative Suite. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to produce print, digital and social material in fundraising in an athletics setting.
