We are seeking applicants for an Assistant Coach/Defensive coordinator in its intercollegiate football program with the Department of Athletics.
Core responsibilities include:
Defensive playbook, game planning, coordinating daily practice schedule & oversight of defensive staff. Recruiting potential student-athletes in a highly academic environment (phone, text, email & travel). Teaching in the physical education program. Other assigned administrative duties as directed by the head coach and director of athletics. Flexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within the Department of Athletics. You should demonstrate:
Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of computer software for film breakdown and recruiting. Proven competitive success on the collegiate level with proven efficiency in recruiting for an academically selective and culturally diverse institution.
Minimum 1-3 years of Athletic Coaching experience required; 2 – 3 years collegiate coaching experience preferred.
This is a full-time 12-months position.
