Illinois Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution, invites applications for the position of Men's Soccer Graduate Assistant. This 9 month G.A. position includes a tuition waiver and stipend of ~$860 per month. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; coaching specific segment as designated by head coach, recruiting, game planning, strength and conditioning, and game management. Coaching duties will start in January of 2020 as a part-time assistant coach with stipend only. Graduate assistant position will begin on August 1, 2020 with classes also starting in Mid-August for the graduate degree program. Successful candidates will adhere to all rules of the CCIW, NCAA, IWU, and will fulfill the requirements and expectations of the Illinois State University graduate program. Candidates must be accepted and enrolled in one of the following graduate degree sequences; Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Psychology of Sport, Sport Management, Recreation Administration, or Physical Education Teachers Education. The individual should have playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level and must have or be willing to obtain a strength and conditioning certification. Candidates must meet the requirement for admission into the Illinois State Graduate School (3.0 in last 60 hours and qualifying GRE score).
