Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Head Women’s Golf Coach (SU 220-19-276) who possesses the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to oversee, organize, and work with all aspects of a successful NCAA Division II athletics program.
Part-time, 12-month position (25% compliment) which requires initiating the first-year program, the organization and supervision of all aspects of a women’s golf team, including: recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, ability to relate to student-athletes, compliance with NCAA rules, PSAC, and Bloomsburg policies and regulations, scheduling, CPR certification, practice and game planning, training, budget management, fundraising, community engagement, camps and clinics, and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Bachelor's degree is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population is required. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and criminal background and successful completion of CPR certification. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an on-campus interview process.
Anticipated start date is January 6, 2020. Salary is a 25% compliment per the Coaches Collective Bargaining Agreement for $7,500 per year.
