Oversee all aspects of video and editing needs for Nebraska Softball. Includes, but not limited to, editing video for scouting opponents, games, daily practice, and individual development. Oversee all technical needs for Nebraska Softball to include computers, tablets, projectors, televisions, etc. Collect and breakdown statistical data and be able to organize efficiently for players and coaches. Additionally, may be asked to assist with the setup and breakdown of practice and create in-house highlight videos from captured game film. This is not a coaching position, per NCAA regulations a video coordinator is not permitted to coach or instruct athletes in any way. Requires irregular hours during season including evening and weekend hours, travel in varying climates and carrying video equipment to various sites.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of video editing and computer experience necessary. Experience with Video Analysis Systems. Knowledge for the game of Softball and Official NCAA Softball Rules. Preferred qualifications: Working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products with emphasis on Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, and After Effects. Experience and understanding of Rapsodo hitting and pitching technology. Experience with Open Broadcaster Software Experience with Diamond Charts. Criminal history background check will be conducted.
