RESPONSIBILITIES: This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sport Performance. Assist in the training and motivation of 450+ student-athletes to maximize their potential for athletic performance and injury prevention. The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will, in conjunction with coaches and athletic trainers, organize and design strength, power, speed, agility and flexibility programs for assigned sports; maintain safety, hygiene, and efficiency of the Carin Strength Center; create and supervise schedules and team workouts.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. At least 1 year of experience in strength & conditioning field is required.
Division I level experience preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) certification is preferred.
The successful candidate must display the highest of ethical standards. Working knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and procedures is necessary.
