Head Women's Tennis Coach/Admission Counselor/Instructor
Salary and Terms Full-time, fixed-term position – 100% FTE. Salary placement is based on experience.

The Head Coach will be responsible for the administration of all phases of an NCAA Division II women's tennis program. Responsibilities include recruiting quality student-athletes, organizing and training student-athletes for successful competition and monitoring and supporting the academic success of the student-athletes. Other head coaching duties include planning and conducting pre- and post-season workouts, preparing and managing budgets, fundraising activities, scheduling, and developing and maintaining alumni relations. The position will also have Admission Counselor responsibilities during the fall semester including the management of a recruitment territory including travel to college fairs, high school visits, consistent communication with prospective students, campus visits, and moving students through the enrollment funnel to reach individual and department goals. Communication with students is through email, phone, text messaging and in person. Reporting and completion of documents using CRM database, territory reports, business services forms, etc.
Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree preferred.
Collegiate, high school, and/or professional tennis experience required.
Knowledge of NCAA policies and regulations required.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Must possess strong time management and organizational skills.
Preference given to candidates with upper Midwest collegiate recruiting experience.
Ability to present information to small and large groups.
Fundraising, special events and game management experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective human relations skills required.
Experience with computers and their applications is required.
Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment; demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds is required.
