Under the direction of the business manager, the aquatics director is responsible for the general administration of the Hulbert Aquatic Center. The Director will maximize facility utilization through development and implementation of activity schedules and events, oversee all marketing and promotion of the facility, plan, recruit, supervise, and evaluate staff, and manage the program and facility budgets, along with the management of the physical facility. The Director will maintain and enforce a comprehensive risk management plan for the Aquatics Facility, including a comprehensive safety program enveloping all staff and patrons.
Bachelor's Degree in Aquatics Facility Management, Facilities Management, Sports Marketing or related area and\or specialized training, certifications or credentials relevant to aquatics
Minimum of three years directly related experience leading or supervising coaches and advisors of activities
Three years progressive experience in aquatics program and facility supervision
Experience with Colorado Time Systems and HyTek Meet Management Software
Experience with volunteer coordination
Experience with obtaining sponsorships
Experience with event procurement and event management
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience and education level, this position has a starting rate of $87,000 plus excellent benefits and paid time off
