The Director of Production is responsible for the oversight, development and execution of all linear & digital media productions for all of Oklahoma’s sports and serves as the senior producer.
At the direction of the position, SoonerVision produces over 400 hours of linear content in support of Oklahoma’s third-tier media rights agreements.
Further, it is the responsibility of the Director of Production to organize and maintain the digital media production management for all sports, supervising the SoonerVision Producers and Production Assistants. The position is also expected to pursue and engage emerging technologies to ensure that Oklahoma stays at the forefront of media creation in support of fan affinity, recruiting efforts and entertainment.
Required Education: Bachelor Degree OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND:
36 months of industry experience in broadcast industry or functional equivalent
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff
Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines
Strong initiative to solve problems
Adobe Creative Suite
Post Production Equipment
Linear Broadcast production functions
