Regional Health is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Assistant to support our partner, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SDSMT). If you have a passion for helping student athletes to achieve their full athletic potential this may the position for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES: •Collaborate with physician(s) and athletic medicine team to optimize activity and participation of athletes on the NCAA Division II level. •Encompass the prevention, assessment and treatment of emergency, acute and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations and disabilities involving athletes in the athletic trainer role.
Must hold state licensure in South Dakota as an Athletic Trainer (ATC)
Athletic Training Bachelor’s degree required. Athletic Training Master’s degree preferred.
Must adapt to flexible schedule as working hours are dependent on athletic schedules. Role requires 40 hours per week, but will have some variation in hours dependent on athletic schedules. Some travel required.
