University of Mount Olive has an opening for a full-time Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. This is a 10-month position (August 1-May 31). Duties include developing, directing, leading, and implementing strength and conditioning programs for all intercollegiate athletic teams; developing and enforcing appropriate safety procedures during all training sessions; monitoring and maintaining the weight room facilities; coordinating conditioning programs with rehabilitation activities in cooperation with athletic trainers; and adhering to all rules and regulations of University of Mount Olive and the NCAA. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. NSCA (CSCS) or CSCCA (SCCC) certification required. CPR certification required. Strength and conditioning experience within an intercollegiate athletic environment preferred.
