Texas State University, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Track and Field Coach, Sprint and Hurdle Events. This is an hourly part-time position.
The Assistant Coach will be responsible for implementing training for student-athletes, specifically sprints and hurdles, during practice and meets, the assessment and recruitment of prospective student-athletes, organizing team travel and equipment inventory, participating in public relations, marketing and fund raising for the track and field program and the athletic department, organizing home track meets volunteers and officials, monitoring the academic progress of track and field student athletes, and complying with NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and Texas State University rules and regulations.
