The College of Charleston Athletics Department is seeking a responsible, self-motivated, and qualified candidate for the position of Marketing/Ticketing Assistant.
The position will assist in the overall marketing and promotion of all teams in addition to assisting with ticket sales and operations. Specific sport responsibilities will include volleyball, women’s basketball, and softball. The position will oversee the student internship program, mascot program, and on-campus promotion/marketing for men’s basketball. The primary ticket office responsibilities include assistance with day to day ticket sales. The selected candidate will also be an integral part of social media planning and execution for the main athletics social media accounts.

Rate of Pay: $10 per hour
Dates: This will be a temporary appointment to end on June 30, 2020 with the potential to renew for an additional year.

A bachelor’s degree is required and experience in a Division 1 athletic program is preferred. Previous experience in sports marketing or ticketing is a plus. Must possess a self-starting and self-motivating work ethic and must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Applicants must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of the College of Charleston, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA. The position requires evenings and weekend work.
Additional Salary Information: 37.5 hours per week plus overtime when needed
