The University of Missouri, a Division I Institution and proud member of the SEC, is now accepting applications for the full-time, benefit eligible position of Sr. Business Analyst - Outbound Ticket Sales. Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director - Outbound Ticket Sales, responsibilities for this position will include providing advanced quality data and analytical support to the Department of Athletics; development, management and processing of large sets of data to increase database and dashboards in which to identify potential single and season sport ticket purchasers and connecting this information with action that can drive business impact and increase overall ticket sales. Build reports, dashboards and models; develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality. Perform data mining through the use of different querying techniques of SQL; inspects and cleans data gathered. Performs on-going analysis pertaining to customer database, while maintaining the integrity of the data. Creates and uses statistical and predictive methods to perform analysis on large data compilations to find relationships and provide strategy for sales campaigns. Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer populations as a whole. Collects, sorts and studies business data from multiple data sources for interpretation and analysis. Organize and simplify numeric information; identifies ways in which collected information can be used in a manner that is beneficial to the organization. Assist senior management in decision making by presenting data requested by using different representational forms such as graphs and charts. Models data according to specified requirements making it useful for decision making purposes. Performs general systems administration and systems enhancements as needed. Coordinates special projects as required. Manage customer relations management systems to assist outbound ticket sales efforts. Assists management grow email subscription base and drive segmentation strategy for email campaigns. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. .
