Position Description: Oversee all facets of Cleveland State University’s NCAA Division I women’s track and field program. Recruit and oversee student-athletes including training and competition. Actively build, monitor and promote a standard of excellence in academic success, compliance, community service, diversity and inclusion, and student health and safety. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Three (3) years progressively responsible experience coaching track and field at the collegiate level. Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. Head coaching experience in collegiate track and field. Previous history of relationship-building and cultivation of former student-athletes and other program stakeholders. Previous experience recruiting in Northeast Ohio.
