The Department of Ticket Operations is seeking a Manager of Ticket Operations. This position will be responsible for management control of all tickets and accounting functions for specific intercollegiate athletic sports including football. This will include ticket application design, creating sports/seasons using the ticketing software, assigning seats and overseeing game day operations for football and other intercollegiate athletic sports. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage the accounting functions including reconciling accounts to prepare for biannual audits, closing out seasons, assisting in preparation of Big Ten settlement reports, recording/billing areas on campus for tickets and working with Internal Audit staff to assist in their reporting
Participate in the formulation of departmental policies, procedures, and objectives governing the ?ticket operations for athletic events, in compliance with NCAA, Big Ten and University rules
Hire, train and manage part time and student workers
Act in supervisory role for office in absence of the Director of Ticket Operations
4 years' of experience in ticket operations administration including; ticket sales, customer service, fiscal administration, and marketing/promotions
Knowledge of selling single game, season and group tickets
Ability to initiate and complete projects with specific deadlines
Demonstrated work experience that shows the ability to function professionally in highly stressful situations and with the ability to provide clear information on an impromptu basis to individuals or groups of people
