The Head Coach for women’s lacrosse is responsible for initiating various aspects of the program, such as recruiting, scheduling opponents, overseeing budget, and training team members. The Head Coach is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by LaGrange College, the USA South Conference, and the NCAA. This is a full time 10-month position. LaGrange College is a member of the NCAA at the Division III level of play.
A Bachelor's degree is required, master's degree preferred. A strong commitment to the Student-Athlete concept and a working knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations is required. Three to five years collegiate coaching experience including effective leadership, communication, coaching and recruiting skills is preferred.
The Head Coach of women’s lacrosse reports to the Athletic Director and is a member of the Athletic Department.
