Bethany College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of assistant coach, graduate intern, for the women's volleyball program. This position will report to the Head Women's Volleyball Coach. Main duties will include coordination of recruiting, academic mentoring, scouting, assisting in planning of practice, individual workouts, fundraising and coordination of strength and conditioning. Additional duties will be assigned by the head coach or the director of athletics.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, playing experience at the collegiate level or previous coaching experience and a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents' Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required.
Compensation includes a stipend, room and board, and a graduate school tuition waiver for Bethany's MAT (Masters of Arts and Teaching) program. Candidate must be enrolled in Bethany's MAT program as a condition of employment. Start date is August 2019.
