The Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach/Assistant Camp Director is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the management and administration of the Baseball sports program and team, within the guidelines, rules and regulations of the University of Miami and the NCAA. This position will also be responsible for infielders and assisting with the Gino DiMare Baseball Camps..
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in coaching regular practice sessions in and out of the season, as allowed.
Assists in coaching the team during scheduled events..
Coaches Infielders or any position assigned by the Head Coach.
Throws batting practice
B. Camps and Clinics
Assist in summer camp brochures and coordinating mail-outs.
Assist in organizing camp/clinic correspondence and enter into computer, write receipts and confirmations.
Assist Camp Director, help prepare camp schedule
Additional duties as assigned by Head Coach.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with the NCAA, ACC, institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Attend Hurricane functions.
Represent the University of Miami in the best possible manner.
