This position is responsible for assisting the head coach in the management and administration of all phases of an intercollegiate sports program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and the University. Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Athletics Department and the University, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA and CCSA, Coastal Collegiate Sports Association. Requires the ability to communicate effectively and to manage multiple tasks.
Duties include but are not limited to on deck coaching at practices and competitions, recruitment of new student-athletes, academic supervision of the athletes, travel coordinating, program management and other tasks as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
Collegiate coaching experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a history of dedication to the academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
Requires the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to assist and administer all phases of NCAA Division 1 athletics swim and dive program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Athletics Department and the University.
Bachelor’s degree and dive coaching experience required. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as well as high ethical and professional standards
