Brandeis University seeks to hire an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the Athletic department.
Serve as assistant athletic trainer within the Department of Athletics. Provide care, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Essential & Other Functions:
Provide care, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
Provide coverage for varsity athletic contests and practices; travel with varsity teams as assigned and maintain appropriate medical records
Supervise interns and student staff and provide first aid to students and faculty during training room operating hours
Other duties as assigned.
1-3 years of total work-related experience
NATABOC (National Athletic Training Association) National Certification preferred
Licensed athletic trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred
CPR, AED, and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer Certified
Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI)
Job requires flexibility, travel, and working late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Maintaining NATABOC verification through continuing education units, maintaining current certification for CPR/AED/First Aid for the professional rescuer.
