Dordt University is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position for the men's hockey program. The position is a 2-year commitment with annual review. Primary responsibilities as a men's hockey graduate assistant coach include, but are not limited to:
assisting with all aspects of recruiting, practice and game preparation, film breakdown, opponent scouting, working individually and with small groups of players, and other responsibilities as assigned by the head coach. Hours expected to work in the role of assistant coach would be approximately 750-1,000 hours.
A bachelor's degree and admission into Dordt's Master of Education or Master of Public Administration program are required. Past experience coaching and/or playing hockey is desired. Hiring priority will be given to candidates interested in the graduate student program, but consideration will also be given to candidates looking to serve only in a part-time coaching capacity.
