The Athletics division of Rollins College is seeking an Assistant Coach, Men’s Lacrosse to join our team. You will report to the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach and be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in carrying out all activities necessary to accomplish the objectives of this sport within the guidelines of the NCAA, Sunshine State Conference (SSC) and Rollins College. Primary responsibilities include coordinating activities through the Head Coach; assisting in recruiting, instructing and retaining highly skilled student-athletes for the men’s lacrosse team; and providing instruction to lacrosse student-athletes on the fundamentals, details and strategies of men’s lacrosse.
Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree preferred
Playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level
Valid Florida driver’s license
A proven record of integrity and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student athletes academically and athletically
Ability to travel and recruit student athletes
Knowledge of all policies and regulations of Rollins College, NCAA and SSC
Computer skills essential with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the Front Rush recruiting platform
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and multi-task
Ability to work many nights and weekends during the sports season
Flexibility to adapt to ever-changing schedule and needs associated with intercollegiate athletics
