The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Associate Athletic Trainer-Men's Basketball.

The Associate Athletic Trainer will serve as a member of the Notre Dame Sport Medicine Staff and assist in implementing a comprehensive program of prevention, recognition, evaluation, and immediate care of athletic injuries to all Notre Dame student-athletes and summer sports camps participants. Responsibilities also include design and implementation of rehabilitation and reconditioning programs for those student athletes. Assistance with acute rehabilitation with other student-athletes will be included and assigned. Serve as safety contact for hazardous weather. Administratively assist with oversight of all day to day operations, policies and procedures of the department. Assist the department supervisor in overseeing assistant athletic trainers, as well as coordinating the student athletic trainer program. Monitor and assist with supervision of medical records for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA/FERPA Laws. Comply with NCAA policy, rules and regulations. Sport assignment-Men's Basketball will include travel but no teaching.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree. Licensed athletic trainer. 4-6 years experience as collegiate athletic trainer. Experience providing medical care for basketball. (College,NBA). Must be Licensed Athletic Trainer for the State of Indiana. BOC Certified Athletic Trainer required.
