Fresno State Athletics Department is accepting applications for a 10-month (Aug - May) internship in the Bulldog Ticket Office. This position will report to the Director of Ticket Operations. This internship is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of ticket operations, while using the Paciolan computerized ticketing system. The objective of the internship is to help the individual learn all aspects of athletic ticketing. This position requires the ability to work extended hours, including weekends, evenings and some travel.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, assisting with the day to day operations of the ticket office; including both single game and season ticket sales of all sports. Supervise ticketing activities at assigned events. Assist with ticket related functions at all football and men's basketball games; including but not limited to; student-athlete complimentary ticket distribution, printing and distribution of single game tickets, maintenance of access management system, general will call, and customer service related issues. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience working in a college or university athletic department or professional sports organization. Extensive experience in customer service/sales. Excellent attendance, punctuality and motivation. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Experience working in a fast paced environment. Must be bondable, dependable, meticulous and good at problem solving in a high pressure, deadline filled setting. Able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to provide own, reliable transportation to work or use public transportation to achieve punctuality.
Experience working with Paciolan ticketing software. Experience working in a ticket office.
