Overview: The Big West Conference, an NCAA Division I member, is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time career position to serve as an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Senior Associate Commissioner.
Secondary Duties may include processing of Student Assistance and Opportunity Funds, Coordinating Arbiter, and assisting in conference reimbursements and other business office projects.

Required qualifications include:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Travel, along with evening and weekend hours occasionally required.
Discretion and sensitivity in handling internal and external confidential matters and materials.
Ability to demonstrate professional competency by establishing and meeting deadlines, balancing multiple responsibilities and working without daily direct supervision in a timely and high-quality fashion.
Demonstrated high-level proficiency in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Proficiency and experience with using Mac computers and operating systems and other software programs (e.g., NCAA LSDBi, inDesign) preferred.
Demonstrated fiscal responsibility.
Additional Salary Information: Benefits include employer paid health, dental and vision insurance after a minimum 30-day waiting period. Participation in employer contributed profit sharing program begins January 1 after completing 12 months of service. Ten vacation days each calendar year beginning January 1.
