Oversee football coaches video, including all technology, daily cutups and video/slide content for position meetings, recruiting, and video analysis.
Provide self-edited practice and game film to coaches and Assistant Coach for Football Video for instructional purposes. Import practice and game footage into XOS editing system. Marking, cutting and editing footage for instruction to student-athletes. Prepare video equipment before every practice and game ensuring proper handling and maintenance of all equipment. Troubleshoot and identify any problems that may occur with video equipment and coordinate service repair. Independently create and edit highlights from practice and game clips for coaching staff to present to clinics across the country and for the use of current players. Responsible for the internet exchange of video content with opponents/NFL. The Big Ten and NFL office, every Sunday via the Dragon Fly platform. Oversee student video support staff, hiring, scheduling, assigning and evaluating work. Maintain knowledge of and compliance with, specific NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and institution rules. 5%
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field is required.
Strong background in technology and video applications is required
Experience producing motivational, recruiting, social media, graphic design projects as well as videotaping and editing football practices and games is preferred.
Experience managing and directing a student workforce
