WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time RESPONSIBILITES:
Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Processing of all monitoring logs; • Establishing a time management plan for each sport; • Researching, writing, and issuing NCAA rules interpretations; • Assisting in the investigation and reporting of NCAA violations; • Preparing and submitting NCAA and Pac-12 waivers; • Implementing booster, staff, and student-athlete rules education; • Monitoring recruitment activities, countable athletically-related activities, promotional activities, time management plans, and donation requests; and • Performing office audits and other special projects as assigned by the Director of Compliance.
Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of professional regulatory experience, preferably in athletics compliance at a NCAA Division I institution or conference office. The selected candidate should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in commonly-used technological processes such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, NCAA LSDBi, and NCAA CA.
Juris Doctorate or Master’s degree; successful completion of the NAAC Education Certification program; prior experience in athletics compliance and student-athlete educational programming at either the Division I level, conference office, or the NCAA; supervisory experience; and proven experience in working with high-profile intercollegiate sports programs.
