Head Cross Country/Track & Field Coach/Assistant Professor
SMSU invites applications for a full time, fixed-term position of Head Cross Country/Track & Field Coach/Assistant Professor. This position is responsible for the operation and management of the women's and men's cross country/track & field programs. Duties include scheduling, planning, organizing, budgeting, recruiting, fundraising and camp development for a competitive program. Head coaching will be 75% of assignment with the balance to be assigned to teaching or other assignment that reflects the expertise of the faculty member. The head coach will provide leadership and direction to the Cross Country/Track & Field programs by ensuring compliance with university, conference and NCAA regulations. SMSU is a member school of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and NCAA Division II. Additional faculty responsibilities include participation in department and institution activities, committee assignments, community service and professional development.
