The University of Vermont Department of Athletics is seeking a dynamic staff person to serve as Director of Ticket Operations. The successful candidate will direct all day-to-day ticket operations for the Athletic Department, including game day tickets for men’s and women’s basketball, hockey, soccer and lacrosse. In the role of Director of Ticket Operations, the individual will be responsible for driving ticket sales to grow revenue for the department of athletics, ensuring that financial settlements, ticket software maintenance, marketing campaigns and assistance in event management are executed consistently and efficiently. The position will monitor, analyze and interpret ticket sales data and revenue generation. Supervision will include the assistant director of ticket operations, ticket staff personnel and temporary employees, including interns. The position will report to the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations.
Bachelor’s Degree and two – four years’ related experience or the equivalent; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to maintain accurate reporting and financial records; Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines; Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team, as well as the capability of completing projects individually; Ability to maintain positive relationships with external and internal constituencies; Strong customer service skillset; Experience with spreadsheets and software systems preferred; Candidates must support institutional initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive environment.
