The University of Nevada, Athletic Department is recruiting for an Assistant Director of Player Personnel. This position will assist the Director of Player Personnel with all Official and Unofficial visits including the necessary pieces to a recruiting visit. The Assistant Director will assist the Director of Player Personnel with all NCAA, Mountain West Conference and University of Nevada compliance paperwork as it relates to recruiting. This position is responsible for the management and distribution of recruiting service materials to appropriate coaches, assisting with the recruiting database and maintenance of the recruiting board. The person in this position will assist with the downloading and entering of recruiting film and offer direction and guidance with regard to the recruiting highlight film. The Assistant Director of Player Personnel will manage and maintain student athlete files including the collection of high school transcripts, admissions paperwork and all other required paperwork. The position is also responsible for coordinating student-athlete housing, scholarships and roster eligibility. Assistant Director of Player Personnel will be the lead for student-athlete class checks, liaison for student-athlete non-football related assistance and managing the current and future student-athlete needs with the Head Coach and coaching staff. This position will assist with summer football camps and lead the Summer Mentoring Program.
Master’s Degree; OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of related work experience; OR Associate's Degree and two years related work experience; OR High School/Equivalent and three years related work experience.
Related Experience: college or professional football exposure.
Schedule or Travel Requirements: requires extended hours to include weekends and holidays; requires travel
