Bethany College is seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate Intern, Athletic Trainer position.
General duties will include, but are not limited too; assisting the Head Athletic Trainer in the daily operations of the Athletic Training Room and working with the professional Athletic Training staff in athletic injury and illness prevention, assessment, referral and treatment for student-athletes in our 22 varsity athletic programs.
Additional duties will be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or the Director of Athletics
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited athletic training program, NATABOC Certification and a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents' Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required.
Compensation includes a stipend, room and board and a graduate school tuition waiver for Bethany's MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) program. Candidate must be accepted and enrolled in Bethany's MAT program as a condition of employment. This is a 10 month position, renewable for one year, with an expected start date of August 1, 2019.
