The candidate will assist with business operations for UT Martin Athletics. The individual will reconcile monthly ledgers for all department accounts. The position is also responsible for the reconciliation of monthly travel and procurement cards for all sports and administrative accounts. They will also file all business transactions and ensure all transactions back-up documentation are attached in University accounting system. Other duties assigned by Athletics Business Manager. The graduate assistant in this position will develop skills in communication and documentation skills. Candidate must comply with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. In addition, the graduate assistant may assist with special events and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Bachelor’s Degree required
Acceptance into UTM Graduate School
Evidence of sound organizational skills
Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues and the public
Previous involvement in marketing, promotions, student activities, leadership development experience, and demonstrated communication and computer skill are preferred
Experience in the field of business
Additional Salary Information: Graduate School Tuition Wavier. 12 Month appointment with one renewal.
