Responsibilities: The individual will be in charge of scheduling, creating, and executing intramural leagues and events.
Work Schedule: Amount of office hours will vary week to week depending on the amount of evening/weekend events going on for the Intramurals Program, as well as depending on the student’s class schedule. This position will be 50% intramural programming, 30% management/operations, and 20% athletic office operations (business, facilities, analysis/research.
Requirements: undergraduate degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, or closely related degree.
The graduate assistant will learn multiple skills that will enable them to pursue a career in sports marketing/athletic operations. They will learn the day to day responsibilities of a NCAA Division II Athletic Department. They will be able to effectively communicate with coaches and staff on a daily basis. This graduate assistant position would provide the student with the opportunity to gain experience in numerous different settings, including facility management, game operations, and marketing and promotions of NSU Athletic events.
