Bard College, located in the Hudson Valley of New York, invites nominations and applications for a Head Athletic Trainer. Bard is a member of the NCAA Division III, Liberty League, United Volleyball Conference and College Squash Association, and sponsors nineteen intercollegiate programs.
Primary responsibilities include the oversight of day to day operations of the athletic training room, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of student-athletes, coverage of home events and training sessions, working with the College’s Team Physician and department staff, and overseeing Assistant Athletic Trainers and per diem Athletic Trainers.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited athletic training or internship program is required; a Master's degree in a related field of Sports Medicine is preferred. Knowledge of NCAA regulations and certification by the National Athletic Trainer's Association required. NATABOC certification, CPR/FPR/AED/SFA certification required (instructor preferred). A minimum of two years of experience as a collegiate athletic trainer is required.
